WA Education Pathway

Location: Western Australia

Cohort Size: Unlimited

Project Objective:

Pillars for Pilgrims, in partnership with Wandering Warriors, is delivering the only dedicated post-graduate education pathway for veterans in Western Australia. Wandering Warriors' national scholarship program already transforms lives through MBA and tertiary education access at institutions including UNSW and the University of Queensland.

This partnership brings that proven model to WA for the first time - combining a dedicated MBA scholarship pathway with P4P's local advocacy, community connection, and reintegration support tailored to the unique needs of the WA veteran community.

Why it matters:

The Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide has made it clear - education, training, and meaningful employment are critical protective factors in transition. Yet veterans still face a fragmented support system, unclear pathways, and qualifications that don't fully translate to civilian careers. Together, P4P and Wandering Warriors are closing that gap in WA - converting service into strategy, and experience into recognised credentials.

Who it is designed for:

ADF members in WA who are transitioning, or have already transitioned, from military service and are ready to step into senior civilian leadership through an MBA.

What they get from it:

An MBA scholarship transforms proven military experience and leadership into formal commercial capability.

Builds strategic, financial, and governance fluency. Expands influential networks and opens doors to executive and

board-level roles. Positions veterans to move confidently into senior civilian leadership - backed by P4P's community and reintegration support every step of the way.
